This was our second year working with Continental Tyres at the London Ride, the green screen photo booth proved to be a big crowd puller that allows lots of social shares for the brand.The brief included building a tiny green screen photo booth in a event pod and to recreate an extreme sports photo of the customer holding on to a Continental tyre while dangling from a tall building. The green screen allows us to do these amazing photo opportunities in all shapes and sizes of places. This photo experience was called the ‘Grip Challenge’ and had its own hashtag to .
The customer workflow
The experience had to run quickly allowing us to turn around a large number of people in a short space of time. The booth was automated by one member of crew who directed the customer on and off the experience. From the time of taking the photo to the customer collecting their print was around 3-4 minutes. Which meant we were able to turn around 588 people with 381 photos being shared to social media.
The event has been running for two consecutive years because it is such a hit with people especially kids and families, the instant print and social sharing helps create brand awareness and event memento that will stay with the client for many years. This is a quick and fast engagement people come and by the time they leave the stand they have a photo in their hand and shared a digital copy socially.
In total the photo booth was able to turn around 588 people and 600+photo prints plus 381 photos being shared to social media.
